A selection of photos from renovating our current digs at 670 High street after moving from our original premises. The all new and improves Loophole 2.0
Midway through 2009, whilst housed at 834 High Street, Loophole was challenged by its landlords
with the demand that we cease some of our projects or be evicted from the space, as well as be subject to ongoing rent rises. We decided to move house. From September 2009 through April 2010, the Loophole organising group spent much of its energy moving homes. More than 80 people helped with the move, which involved large quantities of do-it-yourself redesigning and refitting the new building to our needs. We are grateful for the time and energy contributed by so many.

A femme affair was an afternoon of queer sights and delights presented by the Melbourne anarchist feminists for femmes and friends
- anarchists, sista-girls, lady-bois, fag-hags, pansies, bois and grrls.
Events included: hula hoop workshop, make-your-own-femme-visibility badges, femme "wall of fame", vegan cakes and tea, slit magazine, stalls and MORE!

The Dead The Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a holiday celebrated mainly in Mexico and by people of Mexican heritage (and others) living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and relatives who have died. The celebration occurs on the 1st and 2nd of November, in connection with the Catholic holy days of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day which take place on those days. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.is usually practiced in Mexico

Loophole hosted a spoken word evening for "queers and their peers" featuring performances by a host of local talent. The event was to raise money and awareness for Sri Lanka's LGBTI Pride Festival in Colombo.

As part of an ongoing commitment to building community and anti-capitalist spaces, loophole hosted a "Mad Skills Day". This honoured the knowledge and talents people possess,and created a space where people could come together and learn from each other
